Through the IRS-sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs, as well as the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program, qualifying individuals can receive free, professional tax preparation services. VITA offers help to people with low-to-moderate income, persons with disabilities, and limited-English-speaking taxpayers who need assistance with their returns. TCE is specifically designed to assist seniors, providing specialized guidance on pensions, Social Security, and retirement-related tax issues. AARP Tax-Aide, open to anyone with a focus on taxpayers age 50 and older, connects members of the community with IRS-certified volunteers who are trained each year to ensure accurate and secure filing. Together, these programs make tax season easier by offering reliable, no-cost assistance to those who need it most.

We focus on preparing the types of returns most community members need – accurate, reliable, and always free of charge.
While we can assist with most basic returns, some complex tax situations fall outside the program guidelines and must be prepared by a professional tax preparer.
There could be other situations where we don’t feel comfortable completing your return. Please let us know if you have a unique situation when you make your appointment.
